Men's Soccer goes 1-1 on road trip.

A long weekend of conference soccer results in a 1-1 record with a tough loss against a strong NHTI, and a close win against Hampshire college. Despite the score the Bobcats worked very hard and never gave up. The team fed of the energy of Nate Smith, Coach Luzzi add " Despite the score, Nate worked extremely hard for 90 minutes giving us plenty of opportunities to score. However Bobcats struggled, suffering from many devensive breakdowns throughout the game that ultimately dug themselves into a hole to deep to get out of. " Despite a 5-0 score line, the team looked strong and double digits shots, with 8 of those on frame, We found the cross bar twice, and the near post once. This team hos something special and it is only a matter of time before they start capitalizing.

With a win at Hampshire a highlight goes to Louis Daversa scoring hs first free kick from 25 yards out, over the top wall. Keeping great composure and positive attitudes was a big part of the win. "From a technical perspective it wasn't our best game, however we gave the game maximum effort and controlled possesion to help put us in a position to win. With Louis's free kick it gave it great momentum moving forward, and then Austin Cartwright added the secondto seal the deal for us."

Bobcats Soccer will host NHTI for another conference battle Saturday, September 24.
