Women's Volleyball Continues Winning Streak

Lady Bobcats Volleyball stayed hot this past weekend defeating conference foes Unity College and University of Maine at Machias. The Lady Bobcats took down defending YSCC champion Unity 3-1 with Senior Sarah Vivlamore leading the way with 10 kills, Junior Paige Farrington had a game high of 24 aces, and Sophomore Nayleece Williams gave a great effort adding 27 digs. In their second game of the day, the Lady Bobcats beat University of Maine at Machias 3-1 as well. Freshman Robin Jenkins had her season high with 8 kills, Paige Farrington had an exceptional game serving with 16 aces, and Nayleece Williams led the team again with 23 digs.

The great performance by the Lady Bobcats (3-0, 2-0) now has them in first place in the YSCC. They will travel to Northern Vermont University at Johnson to take on Bay Path University and NVU-Johnson on Sunday, September 16.
