Bobcats Go 2-2 at Clarkson Mud Dog Bowl
Potsdam, NY ~ The Paul Smith's College men's rugby team traveled north on Saturday to compete in the Clarkson University Mud Dog 7s Tournament.
Battling against seven other teams, the Bobcats split the day, going 2-2 while they continue to build for the future. The traditionally muddy games were actually more of a snow bowl as the area had experienced fresh precipitation the days leading up to the event.
While the PSC A team went 2-2, the PSC B team finished 0-2 but gained some important experience. For the A squad, Gianni Santonastaso led the way with three trys, followed by Derek Grant and Mike Lachance (two tries each), and Jack Bricca-Hall, Tyler Stegina, and Luke Geiger with one try apiece, rounding out the scoring for the Bobcats.
Up next is the Potsdam 7s tournament this Saturday, April 5th as both the men's and women's teams will be making the trek north once again to Potsdam, NY.
