PSC Cross Country finish 2nd and 3rd in YSCC Championships
Men's place 2nd and Women's place 3rd in the conference championships.
On a cold and wet day with a depleted roster, the PSC Men's cross country team took home 2nd place and the Women's took home 3rd at the YSCC Championships. The meet was held in Randolph, VT at Vermont Tech. Top runners for the men were Rob Calamia and Tyler Degazo who finished 2nd and 10th overall. On the women's side the top runners were Chloe Matillo (4th place), freshman Adaiah Bauer (8th place), and Jess Setter (9th place).
The men's team finished behind NHTI, while the women were edged out by Hampshire College and Unity College.
The PSC Cross Country team will host the annual Pumpkin McMuffin 5k on October 29th, at 11 am. They hope to use this to stay in condition as they prepare for the USCAA Nationals in Virginia Beach November 10-11. Dedicated to former PSC runner Nic Pendl (class of 2017), the Pumpkin McMuffin has been a yearly event for the past 20 years.
