Bobcats Recognized in USCAA Week 3 Coaches Poll
The Women’s Volleyball (12-8) and the Women’s Soccer (7-5) teams were both recognized by the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) in the weekly coach’s poll. Soccer was honored at 14th in the pool while Volleyball took 8th.
Volleyball is currently tied for 1st in the Yankee Small College Conference and will be hosting the conference tournament this Sunday in Saunders Sports Complex. Last season the Bobcats won the conference tournament and they aim to do it again this year! The team is led by a strong defense presence of Nayleece Williams and Paige Farrington
The Women’s Soccer team who are 7-5 on the season will also get a chance to compete in the conference playoffs as they hit the road to face University of Maine Machais.
Coach Waterbury had this to say about her team, “We have been headed in the right direction all season. Everyone has been stepping up and getting better each day. I’m excited to get a second opportunity to beat Machias on the road.”
