Mary Calabrese earns USCAA All-American Honorable Mention
Senior volleyball captain is first to earn award.
All YSCC performer and senior captain Mary Calabrese becomes the first PSC volleyball player to earn USCAA All-American Honorable Mention recognition. Calabrese finished her career strong by leading the Lady Bobcats to the YSCC Championship game after defeating the #1 seed and tournament host Unity.
"Earning this award to me, shows that our efforts as a team are truly being recognized. As a small school, we tend to be underestimated and ruled out as a hard competitor. This year, we truly worked hard towards our goals and proved that it doesn't matter how large the school is, what matters is how hard you are willing to fight against the obstacles in your way. I believe that the Paul Smith's volleyball team will continue to grow and become a major competitor among our conference," Calabrese said about earning the award and where the program is going.
