Women's Volleyball hosted 20 campers during Camp POUNCE.
This year was the inaugural year for Camp POUNCE. For the past 3 days Paul Smith's College head coach Christina Carpenter, North Country CC Head Coach Susan Waters, and PSC Women's Volleyball player Gabriella Buehler taught campers the fundamentals of the game in a fun and exciting atmosphere.
20 girls from Saranac Lake & Lake Placid attended the three-day camp which covered the basics volleyball skill development and introductory offense and defense. Camp POUNCE successfully concluded last night with a fun and exciting twist of events in our semifinal pool play. Team # 4 overcame top seed number 1 simultaneously as number 3 clawed past team two. Bobcats own Gabby Buehler coached and supported her team (number 3) to win the Championship game. It was thrilling as parents cheered for their young ones and watched impressive rally's and each teams numerous "pass, set and hit!"
